Product Description
Compared with traditional quartz tubes, resistance glass capillaries can improve ion flux. Photonis uses resistance glass technology to guide charged particles into the instrument with a uniform electric field. When a voltage is applied to the capillary to generate an electric field, ions are forced into the mass spectrometer, thereby improving ion transport efficiency. At the same time, it can also prevent ion loss caused by collisions with other ions and tube walls.
Photonis' capillary tubes come in different models, including single capillary and multi capillary tubes. The single pore ion transport efficiency is 100 times higher than that of traditional quartz tubes. The ion transport efficiency of six holes (six channels) is 10 times that of a single capillary tube and 1000 times that of a traditional quartz tube.
In addition to standardized products, the inner and outer diameters of capillary tubes can also be customized according to user needs.
